has always been present in Marcela’s work and life. During her dance work, she gained experience in producing for the theater; while managing Agora, she did numerous and diverse productions for the in-house program and events; At Juicy bar, she had to set complex logistics and extensive operations, while managing a big team with limited resources.

Even though Marcela’s work experience is very diverse, her producer mindset has been a conductive line through all her professional experience. She is now mostly known and hired for large scale productions as a production manager. Here are some examples of productions Marcela has put in to place.

Babes Bar iis a project by Caique Tizzi and Adam Fearon that started in 2017 at Agora Collective as a pop-up art bar that invites artists to perform and host events in an evening context. Its work has been presented at Berlinische Galerie, KW, Video Art Midnight, Martin Gropius Bau and Fragile in Berlin. Marcela has supported the project on different occasions, normally when the event is in bigger scale, as its production manager.

Food Culture Days is an Art Bienalle and Platform of exchange that explores the social, political, cultural and ecological manifestations of food in our society. Marcela assisted the production and curated the dining experiences of FCD's first edition.

Foreplay is a dinner series, curated and produced by Marcela, that promotes the encounter between choreographers and chefs. Each time a new pair is commissioned to go through a month of creation and develop together a dining experience, based on their studio and kitchen practices. Foreplay's primary intention is to create proximity between the audience and the artists work within a familiar context: a dinner.

'We Don't Give a Fork' was a pop up Juice and food stand that travelled to different events such as Feel and Art Lake Festivals.

In 2017 we received the keys for a 2000m2 building previously owned by the Kindl Brewery. Our project Agora had a new home. This house needed an urgent clean up though, being abandoned for more than 15 years, it had a huge amount of debris and old materials all over the place. With a limited budget situation, we reached out to Agora’s strong and engaged community for help, and Marcela lead and produced an 8 days action that made the whole space ready for activation, separating all materials in our hall for potential re-use or re/upcycling.
